Lastly, aware that carbon neutrality is a complex concept, Carmila has undertaken to limit its use of carbon credits by setting a threshold of 10% of incompressible emissions by 2030 and to finance quality carbon credits (Label Bas Carbone) in France, in the regions it operates in. In this framework and following on from Agoterra (formerly TerraTerre), a new partnership has been signed with Carbonapp to finance a reforestation project near the Mont-Saint-Aignan shopping centre, which will sequester the equivalent of 1,000 tonnes of CO2.
